Three Galadima Football Academy players and five from other academies that took part in the recently held 5th Dreamland Hungary Embassy football tournament in Abuja will travel to Hungary in January 2019 for trials.
At the end of the scouting exercise sponsored by the Hungarian Embassy in Abuja, Sani Abacha Suleiman, Anas Abubakar and Lukman Sanusi Danbrin of Galadima academy were selected.
Also selected were Nsikau Sunday (Dolphins Football Academy), Solomon David (Stallion Global Academy), Sodiq Fuhad (Atletico FC Academy), Oparanozie Kenneth (Dreamland academy) and Emmanuel Emeka (Hooke Sport Academy).
According to Abubakar Galadima who is the Team Manager of Galadima Football Academy, arrangements are on for the selected players to travel to Hungary where they will undergo trials in some of the top clubs in the country.
He expressed confidence that the eight players who were selected on merit by the foreign scouts won’t have any problem securing deals in Hungary.
“I am happy to inform you that three of my players and five others from sister football academies were selected at the end of the Dreamland Hungary Embassy football tournament.
“The players are billed to travel to Hungary in January to undergo trials and possibly sign for clubs in the country.
“The foreign scouts settled for the best players in the competition so I am confident they won’t disappoint when they travel for the trials,” he said.
Meanwhile, at the end of the competition which held at the Abuja national stadium, Galadima FC emerged champions as they defeated Right2Win academy 1-0.
