The GACN was incorporated in Nigeria in January 2021 with the purpose of stimulating the growth of natural gas utilisation in the Nigerian domestic market (among others). Given consistent support from the federal government at all levels, there is no excuse for not achieving the mandate.
Daily Trust reports that some members of the company were recognised and given awards. Maryam Saleh as Health Safety Security Environment (HSSE) Champion; Ogheneovo Orighohegha as HSSE Champion runner up; Somkenechukwu Tassie as most improved; Oche Agbese as most improved staff runner up; Omosigho Egbon as Champion of excellence and Stephen Oke as the best team player.
While pledging the management’s support at all times, the MD said recognition such as this, is “The highest level of motivation given that among all your peers, you are the best.”
