GAC Motor, the sole distributors of CIG Motors across Africa, at the weekend presented new vehicles to Super Eagles.
Officials led by the Chairman of CIG Motors, Chief Diana Chen flew to Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin to support the Super Eagles in their 2021 AFCON qualification match against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone.
Chief Chen was led by the president of the NFF, Mr. Amaju Pinnick to the Hotel of the Super Eagles team to present a car to the Eagles’ Head Coach, Gernot Rohr and members of the football team.
Other vehicles presented included an ambulance, GAC GS8, GAC GS3, GAC GS4 cars, and a Dongfeng M3 Bus.
The presentation came a few days after the Lagos signing ceremony as the official automobile partner of the Nigeria Football Federation
“At GAC Motor, we have not only shown a deep commitment with this gesture but we are also promising that this is one of many, in the hopes that the future unfolds a more prosperous era for Nigerian football and our relationship with the Nigeria Football Federation.
“Our utmost goal is to make Nigerians happy while watching your games. And we are here to ensure that in whatever ways we can,” the CIG Chairman was quoted in a statement on Sunday.
The NFF President promised that the vehicles would be used to service the team spirit and the passion for the sport.
