FUT Minna produces 62 first class graduates

The Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna says it will be graduating 62 students with first class and 1006 second class upper division during its 27th convocation ceremony slated for February 1st, 2018. 

The institution’s vice chancellor, Prof Abdullahi Bala disclosed this at the pre-convocation press conference yesterday in Minna, saying a total of 3,741students would be graduating out of which 3,096 receive first degree certificates while 426 would be awarded Master’s degrees respectively.

He added that 1,526 got second class lower division while 468 and 34 had third class and pass degrees respectively. 

He said the 2016/2017 result was an improvement over last year’s 549 and 70 respectively in latter two categories, and that graduating students would collect their  original certificates immediately after the convocation ceremony.
