The Bishop, Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Nyanya, Rev. Kehinde Adeyemi, yesterday urged government and leaders at all levels to fulfill their campaign promises for the nation to overcome insecurity and other challenges facing it.
He made the call at the Diocese 11th Annual Synod held in New Karu, Nasarawa State, where special prayers were said for the growth of the church and the nation.

He also urged the faithful at the synod and other Christians to intensify prayers in line with the theme of the Synod ‘Watch and Pray’.
He said: “Insecurity, economic hardships, unemployment, secession calls, banditry and other challenges need urgent attention by the government. Lack of political will from leadership in fulfilling campaign promises to the masses has resulted into frustration and rebellion.”
Also, the Methodist Church Archbishop of Abuja, Most Rev. Joseph Job, urged Christians to be on alert and intensify prayers for themselves and the nation at large.
