Fulani youths, under the auspices of Bandiraku Fulbe Youths Association in Kaduna State, have been urged to expose criminals hiding among them and work with other stakeholders to ensure peace in the state.
The Executive Chairman, Sanga Local Government Council, Charles Danladi stated this while inaugurating officials of the local government chapter of the association held at Gwantu, Sanga Local Government headquarters.
Danladi also urged the youths to support the government at all levels in its effort to foster peace between farmers and herders and enhanced cordial relationship amongst them.
He challenged the newly inaugurated officials to live above board in the discharge of their duties by checking the excesses of those among them who want to foment trouble.
Earlier, the Kaduna State Chairman of the association, Abdullahi Ibrahim said they were in Sanga LGA to formally introduce members of the association to the chairman and his council. Ibrahim expressed the hope that they will both work together to enhance the progress and development of the area.
