Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu is billed to host a strategy session with the Major Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN), Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association (DAPPMA) as well as Jetty and Tank Farm Owners Associations in Abuja on Wednesday.

He will also meet with other relevant oil stakeholders to chart way for a speedy clearance of the fuel queues across the country.

Fuel queues continued to rip through states and the federal capital territory over the delay in the payment of petroleum subsidy to marketers who have stopped importing products.

The inability of the pipelines to function effectively and trucking out of Apapa, Lagos due to heavy traffic gridlock have been identified as some of the causes of the scarcity of petrol.
