The Bauchi State House of Assembly has expressed worry over the resurfacing of long queues at filling stations in Bauchi Metropolis as fuel scarcity hits the state.
A member representing Katagum Constituency, Mukhtar A Suleiman, while moving a motion of urgent public importance at the plenary yesterday, said the scarcity had subjected the people to untold hardship.
He said it was dangerous to allow the filling stations to be jampacked with the insecurity in the country.
At the plenary presided over by Deputy Speaker Danlami Ahmed Kawule, the assembly urged the state government to hold a meeting with all fuel dealers in the state to find out the actual reasons for the scarcity.
