The Federal Government says it will today (Thursday) meet the representatives of Nigeria Labour Congress and its affiliates to discuss the planned Monday’s strike by the organised labour the fuel price and electricity tariff hikes.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Charles Akpan, in a Whatsapp message sent to our correspondent said the meeting would be held at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, at 3pm.

A meeting the government had with the labour over the issue few days back had ended in a deadlock.
The organised labour is demanding that the hikes be reversed.
