Fuel crisis: NSCDC deploys personnel to filling stations in Zamfara

Zamfara state Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) has deployed its personnel to ensure  adequate security  for filling stations in the state.

Conducting sales monitoring across numerous filling stations in Gusau the state capital, the state Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr. David Abi, directed the management of some filling stations who have earlier closed for consumer disorderly reasons to immediately continue the legitimate sales as his Command would redeploy more personnel.

 "I am out to provide calm environment for filling stations and ensure the smooth running of sales and hitch-free consumption of fuel, therefore no double purchase is allowed, no dispensing to Jerry cans and gallons or bypassing queues in seek of favour no matter the class a consumer belongs to", Mr. Abi warned.

Mr.Abi, who engaged in clearing and ensuring queues were orderly maintained at some filling stations further warned that, the managers should abide by the rules of sales especially respecting the governments’ approved price and avoid either diversion or any act capable of making the circulation of fuel difficult for legitimate buyers.
