The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has warned motorists to cooperate with road marshals to prevent unprovoked knockdown of its operatives during patrols or rescue operations, hinting that such will no longer be tolerated.
The Commandant of the FRSC Road Marshal Assistants Training School, Shendam, Mallam Yakubu Mohammad, handed down the warning at the just concluded retraining of 415 personnel aimed to align them with realistic expectations of the modern age.
Mohammad advised the participants to exhibit civility in their operations and urged motorists to obey traffic rules and cooperate with the road marshals to prevent unprovoked knockdowns involving the operatives during patrols or rescue operations.
