The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has revealed that it recorded 13 road crashes during the Eid el- Kabir celebration in Niger State.
The Sector Commander, Mr Kumar Tsukwam, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna on Wednesday.
Tsukwam said that the victims were 84, while 19 vehicles were involved.
According to him, one person died, while 44 that sustained injuries were taken to different hospitals by the corps, nothing that 39 others survived without physical injuries.
He blamed the crashes on speed, overloading and wrongful overtaking, and advised motorists to be safety conscious.
