The State High Court 3 in Bauchi has ordered that a former Director General, Bauchi Geographic and Information System (BAGIES), Baba Abubakar Suleiman and Yusuf Abubakar be remanded in the Nigeria Correctional facility over allegations of fraud and obtaining N15.5 million under false pretense.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Suleiman and Abubakar in court.
Arraigning the accused before Justice Mohammed Abubakar Sambo of State High Court 3, on Tuesday, EFCC detective Barnabas Okpapi told the court that the accused were arraigned on seven-count charges contrary to sections 362, 363, 366 and 368 of the penal code.
