It was learnt that the police and vigilante have been combing the bush in the area to track the hoodlums after getting wind of the incident.
However, their efforts have not paid off as of the time of this report.
The Kogi State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP William Aya, did not pick calls to confirm the story.
But reports from the locals in the area indicated that a surveillance chopper had been drafted to the area to help track the hoodlums.
A source confirmed sighting the chopper hovering over the air space in the area on Sunday.
Hoodlums, numbering about 30, had invaded Egbe town recently, killing and looting banks and POS operators.
