Khalifa Dankadai Charitable (KDC) Foundation in collaboration with the Kano State government and the Centre for Infectious Diseases Research and Control, Bayero University Kano (BUK), has trained students of Tsangaya schools in the state capital on COVID-19 safety protocol.

The three-day training, which was supported by the U.S Embassy, Abuja, was facilitated by the Director, Centre for Infectious Disease Research and Control, BUK, Prof. Isa Sadeeq Abubakar.

The founder, KDC Foundation, Malam Khalifa Dankadai, said the programme was organised to furnish the Tsangaya schools with adequate information about COVID-19, adding that hand washing tanks and antiseptic soaps for hand hygiene were also provided at the schools across the metropolis.

The Executive Chairman, Kano State Qur’anic and Islamiyya Schools Management Board (KSQISMB), Sheikh Yahuza Danzarga, commended the KDC foundation and its partners for the training.
