She explained that the foundation realised that majority of local traders lack such knowledge and decided to train them on it.

“In this era of digitalisation and computer knowledge our traders need to acquire such skills to enable them compete in the global market. This is why we decided to train 500 of them ‎on Digital Marketing.

“We also educated them on social skill usage, that is use of Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to enhance their business opportunities,” she said.

Hajiya Binta said those who benefited were traders at Kaduna Central market and other areas who could not afford to pay for the training and were trained free.

‎‎”We have also educated both male and females from Unguwar Sanusi community in computer education because the aim is to see that our local people also acquire ordinary computer knowledge so that at least they can operate a computer if they see one,” she said.
