Guga Global Foundation has supported 130 orphans with food items and commissioned its free computer training centre for less privilege children of four villages in Bakori Local government area.
The villages are Guga, Mai Yadiya, Kakumi and Danguza.
Speaking at the ceremony, the District head of Bakori and Makaman Katsina, Idris Sule stressed the need for people to give back to the community no matter how little as it will go a long way in advancing humanity.
He urged other philanthropists to emulate the foundation by reaching out saying that ” assistance and supporting less the privilege is a one of such ways”
In his remarks, chairman of the foundation, Abduljabbar Surajo Guga, represented by his secretary Nasiru Daura said the foundation is committed towards alleviating the plight of the downtrodden and will not relent in this regard.
He said, the food items distribution is an annual event of the foundation especially around Ramadan period to allow the orphans and less privilege ones enjoy the holy month.
