The Habeeb Okunola Foundation says it has launched the “Ominira Economic Stimulus Fund,” a social safety net initiative designed to support 1,000 beneficiaries in Nigeria’s southwest region.
In a statement on Tuesday by the Foundation, it said the initiative is a direct response to the economic challenges facing many Nigerians, particularly low-income traders and youth, and aims to provide essential relief and empowerment.
“As part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to community development, the stimulus fund offers a comprehensive package of financial grants, vocational training, and mentorship opportunities to help beneficiaries build sustainable livelihoods. The program underscores the foundation’s mission to improve lives and stimulate economic resilience,” it said.
At the launch, the statement quoted Chief Habeeb Okunola OFR, the founder of the Habeeb Okunola Foundation, saying that “The Foundation understand the challenges faced by many Nigerians, and we believe that this stimulus fund will make a significant difference in their lives and trade. By providing beneficiaries with the necessary tools and support, we can help individuals and families overcome financial hardships and contribute to the economic growth of their communities”. He said
