Foundation gives succour to military widows

The Lieutenant Colonel Kabir Yusuf Help For Heroes Foundation yesterday in Kaduna gave succour to widows of military personnel who lost their lives while defending the country.

The Foundation was set up to immortalize late Lt. Col. Kabiru Yusuf who went missing after an ambush by Boko Haram insurgents at Ghashigar in Borno State onOctober 16, 2016.

Presenting the relief items including food and cosmetics to some of the beneficiaries, the Foundation’s Matron, Hajiya Shola Raji, who spoke on behalf of the President of the Foundation, Alhaji Mashood Kayode Yusuf said, it was high time individuals look into the plights of widows who have lost their husbands in action.
