The board chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Hamisu Saulawa, said that the Foundation had distributed palliatives to 3,080 women across the 11 local government areas of the state.
He said that the essence of the palliatives and the empowerment was to touch the lives of those in need to alleviate their suffering as we approach the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Saulawa, urged the beneficiaries not to sell the items given to them because the purpose for which the items were given was to make them self-reliant.
