He extolled the initiatives of Engineer Tukur Hassan Tingilin, founder of the Zannan Galadima Foundation who is also the general manager of the state Water Board.

Governor Radda also expressed his gratitude to his appointees and members of the state assembly for their human development projects in their respective constituencies.

“Within this short period in office, I have commissioned a lot of human development projects in various local governments in the state initiated by my appointees or members of the State House of Assembly. This will surely improve the support base of our great party APC.”

Earlier in his speech, the founder of Zannan Galadima Foundation, Engineer Tukur Hassan Tingilin said nine hundred and seventy-five orphans in Malumfashi LGA were supported with N5,000 grant each.

“The foundation will also distribute 100 units of blankets to Almajiri pupils in Malumfashi and Kafur LGAs to assuage their suffering in this harmattan season. Fifty students from public schools in the two LGAs were supported with NECO/WAEC forms, while 300 students were supported with JAMB forms.”

Tingilin recalled how he was sponsored by his community to study in Katsina and Kaduna Polytechnics.

“I remain grateful to my community for what they have done in supporting my education; and I found it necessary to pay back in the same coin.” Eng. Tingilin said.

The Head of Media and Publicity of the foundation Mallam Abdullahi Jibril said less privileged students from public schools were selected for JAMB, NECO and WAEC forms.

“Besides the selection process of the less privileged students, we work in partnership with Ash-shifah Social Development and Health Awareness Initiative for rigorous training of the beneficiaries in JAMB examination and CBT in both Malumfashi and Kafur districts.”
