Haske Support Foundation has donated torchlights to members of Neighborhood Watch and Vigilante groups in communities of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Hajiya Maryam Shehu Nabage, popularly known as Uwar Marayu, handed over the items to members of the groups in Anguwar Roro, Anguwar Rimi, Katako, Gangare, Bulbula, Sarkin Mangu, and Abba Na Shehu communities, all in Jos North.
Hajiya Maryam, who is the leader of the foundation, said the donation was meant to help the groups curtail the rate of local crimes and other social vices in the communities.
“We donate the items to help free our communities from fear and breed good generations and thereby attain safe communities.
She commended the efforts and steadfastness of the groups and promised to support them.
