Foundation Celebrates Nigerian As He Becomes First African Professor Of Linguistics In S/Arabia

The leadership of Amanatullah Legacy Foundation (ALEF) has celebrated Prof. Abdulghani Isa Oyarekhua on his promotion as Professor of Linguistics at the Islamic University of Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the first African to attain the position in the country.

The Foundation in a statement signed by its Executive Director, Barr. Umar Musa Ikhilor in Abuja on Tuesday stated that, becoming the first African to become a peofessor in the field was a no mean feat.

It reads, “This remarkable feat accentuates your accomplishments and is a beacon of pride for us at ALEF, our alma mater (the Islamic Centre Afikpo), Nigeria and the entire African continent.

“Being the first African to attain such an honour is a testament to your knack for scholarly excellence, dedication to intellectual erudition, and the profound impact of the education provided by our father, teacher and mentor, Sheikh Muhammad Amanatullah (rahimahu-Llah).
