Nigerian leaders have been urged to emulate some elder statesmen in their conducts to be able to surmount the myriad of challenges facing the country.
They made the call at the 96 birthday celebration of a renowned Muslim cleric, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi and public presentation of six books in his honour at the weekend in Abuja.
The author of the books, Prof. Khalid Abdullahi Zaria, described the Islamic scholar as a man of peace, urging other leaders in the country to emulate him.
Speaking at the event, a former Minister of Sport and Youths Development, Barr Solomon Dalung, urged Nigerian leaders to emulate the legacies of the founding fathers of the nation.
