The women wing of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria (Lajna Imaillah) has called on Nigerian Muslims to fortify their spiritual strength in the face of what it called “Global economic adversity.”
The body made the call at the recently concluded 3-day annual convention at Mahmud Ahmadiyya College Abule Eko ljede in Lagos State.
The convention, which brought together over 5,000 women from across the country, was titled “Tawakkul and Sabr’: Spiritual strength in the face of economic adversity.”

The president of the female body, Hajia Taofeeqa Aderoju Fagbolade, called on participants to rise above the socio-economic struggles to harness their inner strength and support one another as a community.
