A former Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer of Media Trust Limited, Alhaji Isiaq Ayorinde Ajibola, has been installed as the Akogun of Ife-Olukotun, in Yagba East LGA of Kogi State.
The installation ceremony was performed by the Olukotun of Ife-Olukotun, his Royal Highness, Oba Shuaibu Aiyegbajeje Mohammed, on Saturday.
Daily Trust reports that the title, which was conferred on the businessman and media mogul, is one of the highest recognition in the land.
Speaking during the ceremony, the traditional ruler commended the qualities of Ajibola which, he said, distinguished him among his peers in the community.
He said Ajibola, who doubles as the Jagunmolu Adini of Ife-Olukotun due to his philanthropic disposition and Islamic activities, has brought popularity and attracted governmental presence in areas of necessity in his domain.
