Nick Imudia, former Chief Executive Officer of Konga, an e-commerce giant,  has allegedly killed himself.

Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident but did not go into details.

According to reports, Imudia, who hailed from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, jumped from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos, on Tuesday evening.

According to TheWill, an online platform, before his death, the businessman made a call to his United States-based brother to instruct him on how to distribute his wealth.

He was said to have also called his young daughter to inform her that he would always be there for her.

Friends, family and associates of Imudia are said to be in shock as there was no indication that he would take his life.

He was reportedly married to the mother of his young daughter but the marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.

He got married again to a Caucasian.

Before Konga, Nick had stints with TCL/Alcatel as a regional director and Microsoft Device and Services as the GM/MD for West and Central Africa, according to TheWill.
