Former Jonathan’s campaign coordinator attacked in Gombe

The incident occurred during the wedding Fatiha of the daughter of the former New PDP Treasurer Tanko Ishaku Gwamna.
Confirming the incident to Sunday Trust, Mu’azu said he was lucky good Samaritans rescued him from the attackers.
“I was lucky some good Samaritans protected me and that brought about a clash between the thugs and those who tried to protect me. Later, I was accompanied out of the mosque by the commissioner of police, so I returned home safely.”
When contacted, the Gombe State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Fwaje Atajiri, said he was not aware of the situation, but promised to call back after he had been briefed by his men on patrol.
