he spokesperson of the former governor of Zamfara State, Anas Abdullahi Kaura, has called on former Inspector General of Police (IGP) MD Abubakar and General Ali Gusau to address the security issues troubling Zamfara State.
In an interview with journalists in Abuja, Kaura emphasized the importance of patriotism towards the state, especially regarding security matters.
He urged both Gusau and the former governor to utilize their influence and resources to put an end to the state’s security problems.
Kaura alleged that the former IGP had previously presented a security report on Zamfara State’s insecurity to former governor Bello Matawalle, but it was disregarded.
The security report has now been passed on to the new governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawan Dare.
Kaura asserted that this report, as promised during the new governor’s reception ceremony, would contribute to solving Zamfara State’s security problems in a short period.
