Global forex broker, OctaFX, has said more than 12 million trading accounts have been opened on its platform from clients in 150 countries.
The broker, which disclosed this as part of activities to commemorate its 11th anniversary in Nigeria, also unveiled Tunde Onakoya and Ambrose Ebuka as brand ambassadors.

27-year-old Onakoya is a chess master who rose to prominence with his Chess in Slums Africa project, a platform he uses to inspire and help children from underserved communities in Nigeria.
“Bringing Tunde Onakoya and Ambrose Ebuka as brand ambassadors is a deliberate and strategic attempt to align further with the aspirations of Nigerians. We want to keep the focus on their goals with investments in knowledge acquisition and charitable initiatives. We are delighted to have Onakoya and Ebuka join us to achieve this,” noted the OctaFX press office.
It said that Onakoya is joining the broker as a brand ambassador for charity while Ebuka will serve as a brand ambassador for forex education as part of its global rebranding effort.
Onakoya in his reaction said that being a brand ambassador is a testament to the reality that he wants to keep being the bridge between the children in underserved communities and their dreams, “especially through impactful projects as a result of my collaboration with OctaFX.”
21-year-old Ebuka said that partnering with OctaFX will give Nigerians access to attaining financial freedom with information-driven forex trading.
