Invited foreign-based players will arrive the National U23 football team’s camp on 7th December, 2014 to commence their screening.
Head Coach of the team, Samson Siasia made this known in Abuja at the weekend.

The Coach Siasia led technical crew had invited more players for the training programmes.

The players from the Nigeria Premier League are set to storm the camp in Abuja.

“We don’t have time on our hands, so from the program we have drawn up, the team will continue screening from the 1st to the 6th of December. Then, the overseas based would join them from the 7th and screening for them will continue till the 12th of December when we will, hopefully, travel to Bauchi to play a friendly game,” he said.
Siasia however warned that any home- based player who fails to report to camp between the 1st to the 6th of December should not bother coming to camp anymore.
According to Siasia, the technical crew will concentrate on assessing the foreign based players from the 8th to the 11th of December.
The team’s technical crew had screened over 1,000 players from the local scene since it opened camp about two weeks ago.

Siasia first assignment is to qualify the team for the Men’s Football event of the 11th All-Africa Games taking place in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo in July 2015.
