Food security: ‘Presidency supports potato value-chain summit’

The Presidency is in support of the first international potato value chain and other root crops summit and expo taking place in Jos, Plateau, on November 18, 2021.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, expressed the support while receiving the organisers.

Mustapha, represented by the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the SGF on Political and Economy, Andrew David Adejo, said: “The federal government will support the Expo because it is in line with the economic diversification of Nigeria’s economy.”

 A statement yesterday by the organiser of the summit, ABC Paulas Resources Limited, signed by Ambrose Okojie, said speakers include NISRAL Managing Director, Aliyu Abdulahammed; Executive Secretary, Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria, Prof. Garba Sharubutu, among others.
