The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International –Nigeria (FGBMFI-NG) has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to take emergency measures that would help farmers return to farmlands to tackle the rising food insecurity in the country.
National President of FGBMFI-NG, Arc Ifeanyi Odedo, made the call yesterday at the pre-convention briefing of the Fellowship’s 2024 Abuja National Convention slated for September 5 to September 7, 2024 in Abuja.
“We continue to express concern over the challenge of food insecurity in Nigeria which is largely engendered by the spate of kidnappings and banditry across the country.
“We believe that a concerted action to curb these ugly menaces, as Mr President is directing would enable farmers go back to their farms, thereby alleviating the present hardship, restore peace in the land and in no small measure revive our nation’s economy,” Odedo said.
