Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN) has partnered with AgBiTech, a pesticide distributor, to expand pesticide distribution to protect maize and other crops from damages caused by the Fall Armyworm (FAW) infestation.
Golden Agri Inputs Limited (GAIL), a member of the FMN Group will implement the partnership, a statement by the Group Managing Director of FMN Boye Olusanya said.

“I believe this partnership with AgBiTech is especially important because it offers farmers an efficient option of pest management products that prevent yield losses.”
The Head of Africa & South Asia for AgBiTech, Dr. Shachi Gurumayum said Fawligen has been tested and evaluated by the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) for two consecutive years in Nigeria.
