The 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, has commiserated with the people of Borno State over the flood incident that ravaged the state and displaced many.
The emir, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Naisa, said the flood was a sad event that moved the entire country.
He said, “While this kind of incident is rare but when it comes we have no other option but to return to God and seek his divine intervention and pray it never happens again in the future.

“We prayed for the souls of those that lost their lives to rest in peace while those who sustained injuries quick recovery as well those lost their properties and other valuables, God returns to them what is best for them.”
Emir Bayero further commiserated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governor Babagana Umar Zulum and Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Mustapha El Garbi.
