Six members of a family have drowned after flood waters submerged their house at Nzam community in Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State.
In a trending video, youths are seen bringing out corpses from a house and depositing them in an upland area. The bodies are that of two women and four children.

The narrator in the video said the family members were prepared to leave for a safe place before they were submerged by the flood.
Recall that 81 people died in two boat mishaps in Ogbaru LGA of Anambra State last week.
Also, a man who had evacuated his family from the flood and opted to stay back to take care of the vicinity was drowned in the same Ogbaru.
Meanwhile, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), in a press statement, said that it had commenced aerial surveillance using helicopters to rescue trapped residents.
