On March 27, President Muhammadu Buhari hosted the late Idriss Deby at the presidential villa in Abuja.

Both men discussed on a wide range of issues, especially on the fight against insurgency.

That was the last known visit of Deby to Nigeria’s seat of power as he died from injuries sustained in a gun battle with rebels, on Tuesday.

In his lifetime, Deby visited Aso Rock on numerous occasions. Below are pictures of his last trip to the presidential villa in Abuja.
