Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, has returned to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, has returned to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

President Muhammadu Buhari welcomed him to the ruling party at a brief event in Aso Rock on Thursday.

Some APC governors witnessed the return of Fani-Kayode who left APC in 2014, citing irreconcilable differences.

After leaving the ruling party, Fani-Kayode became very critical of APC and the Buhari administration.

Two years ago when there were reports that he had returned to APC, Fani-Kayode said he would rather die than do so.

“I am committed to opposing the APC and those that are in their ranks for the rest of my natural life and I will never join them no matter what!” he had said at the time.

Below are tweets of the former minister on December 15, 2019.
