Flamingos fly out on Wednesday for World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia

Flamingos’ delegation of 22 players and team officials will jet on Wednesday to Addis Ababa for the first leg of the final round of the 2022 FIFA U-17 World Championship qualifiers against Ethiopia on Friday.

Head Coach Bankole Olowookere has picked 22 players for the important away fixture.

After home-and-away victories over the Democratic Republic of Congo and Egypt, the Flamingos have a final hurdle to negotiate against a team that sensationally sent South Africa’s Bantwana packing with a 3-0 win in Johannesburg.
