Fashola said eight persons tested positive while results of two were being awaited yesterday. The governor enjoined the traditional rulers to properly educate their subjects and urged religious leaders not to attach spiritualism to the current problem. The Special Adviser to the governor on public health, Mrs. Yewande Adeshina, urged the traditional  and religious leaders not to move any of their subjects suspected of contracting the disease and advised them to sensitize their subjects on the need to wash their hands regularly with soap, noting that the virus is powerless outside the body.  
Speaking with Daily Trust after the meeting, one of the traditional rulers, the Ojora of Ijora, Oba Abdul-Fatai Aromire, said he, alongside other Obas, would pass the message to their people.
