‘Five Maids of Fadaka’ showcases parental intrigues to help children succeed

A thrilling theatrical drama, ‘Five Maids of Fadaka’, has showcased several intrigues parents devise to ensure their wards or children succeed in life.

The stage play, which was unveiled during the Yuletide in Lagos at the Kona Recreation Hub, Lekki, Lagos, will also be performed on December 28 – 29.

Written and Produced by Ayo Jaiyesinmi in partnership with the MTN Foundation, the drama tells exhilarating stories of things parents and guardians do to guarantee that their children get the best of whatever life has to offer.

The Five Maids of Fadaka tells the story of a King who is getting married. As the news spread like harmattan fire, every maiden’s dream is to be on the King’s bridal entourage and more importantly, be the centre of attention. The contest is keen as people go to huge lengths to get their daughters enlisted.

The drama also highlights the whims and devises of the inhabitants of Fadaka, contesting for a slot in the community’s most prestigious event!

The Five Maids of Fadaka, a production of the Thespian Family Theatre, is a stage play with a rich blend of folklore, dance and music.

According to the organiser, the stage play is expected to be showed at the Kona Recreation Hub, Lekki, Lagos on the 28th and 29th of December, 2019.

Daily Trust reports that other theatre productions which the MTN Foundation would be sponsoring in the coming days include Fela and the Kalakuta Republic, Emotan, Agbarho, and OMG the Musical!etc.
