Five books in honour of Yinka Davies

It is difficult to find a total artiste in the mode of the incredible Ms Yinka Davies. Cerebral and multidisciplinary, the award winning singer and actress has remained in our consciousness for more than two decades. Her artistic journey is what movies are made of, from sculpting and painting to dancing, singing and choreography and to stage and movie acting.

Yinka has traversed them all and the cherry on the pie is that she is also a talent spotting expert serving as a judge on many reality shows including Nigerian Idol. Adjudged as the voice of the decade in 2007, Yinka continues to dominate the entertainment sector with great aplomb and remains one of our beloved stage actors, a thespian on stage and the small screen for all times.

Against all odds, Yinka rebounded from an accident that nearly crippled her artistic career, bigger, bolder and better. Currently on stage with the much celebrated legends where she plays Sango’s wife, Oya, Yinka remains one of Nigeria’s finest, disciplined and focused with staying power. Ms Davies comes into Abuja on the 27th of June 2019 as Lead Facilitator for the creative entrepreneurship workshop, the Creative Feast organized by The Eugenia Abu Media Centre.
