Blessing Kalu, a first-class graduate of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), Abia State, has been crushed to death.

Kalu, who just concluded her exams on Friday, 20th August, 2021, was hit by a trailer driver.

She was a native of Nkporo in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia.

The ugly incident that claimed her life took place within the early hours of Monday along MOUAU Route within Research Institute where the victim was on a motorcycle and was on her way to refill her gas cylinder.

Eye witnesses confirmed that the impatience of cyclist who attempted to take over take the trailer resulted to her untimely death.

Meanwhile, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Abia State Chapter, has mourned the death of the fresh graduate.

In a Facebook post, NANS said the victim went for thanksgiving at church on Sunday but was knocked down hours after returning from Thanksgiving service.
