A member of the state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Sheik Iskieel Lawal, who spoke to newsmen said the trip was hitch free. Meanwhile, the remaining 712 pilgrims from the state have been assured that they would be airlifted as scheduled. Also, 274 pilgrims from Edo State will today depart for the holy land. Chairman of the state’s Pilgrims Welfare Board and Eghiegbai of Ekperi Dekhe Kanoba made this known during a send-forth ceremony organized for them by Governor Adams Oshiomhole.
