A solar-powered water facilities company, Eauxwell Nigeria Limited, has trained top officials of Water Supply and Sanitation Agencies (RUWASSA) from the northern part of the country on Solar Water System Design and Installation.
This is order to make water safe, affordable and available in rural communities in the country and in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The training was also to help reduce deaths arising from water borne diseases, poverty and enhance the rural dwellers’ standard of living.
Facilitator and Project Manager of the company, Engineer Femi Ayeni, said the workshop was aimed at assembling water professionals to educate them on the latest techniques, applications and maintenance of solar powered equipment.
Executive Secretary, Sokoto State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency, Engineer Sedsidi Abass, said the workshop was enriching and added value to participants.
