A real estate company based in Abuja, Zoe New Dawn Nigeria Limited, has begun the construction of 10,000 housing units in Hill City Community, Lugbe, in the FCT.

The chairman of the company, Engr Stephen Achema, while briefing journalists in Abuja, said the community would feature a variety of building designs and smart homes for everyone regardless of financial capability.

Achema explained that the project was dear to his heart because it would address the needs of the underserved.

He said, “We have always built for the high and mighty in places like Guzape, Jabi, Wuye, Asokoro, Katampe and recently our one-of-a-kind New Dawn and Casa Cubana Golf Resort in Kukwaba.

“But this project is different from the others. This is our way of saying thank you to our fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters for their dedication and passion for our nation.”

He said the firm would also execute a similar project in Lagos, Enugu, Delta and Anambra states.

He added that, “I have always prayed to God to help me find a lasting solution to the housing difficulties our dear hardworking civil servants and those the society has classified as low-income earners face.

“They stabilise the economy yet cannot build a house for themselves because of the high cost. This is why we partnered with another vibrant real estate firm, Casa Cubana Homes, chaired by my brother, Obi Cubana, to come up with this project.”
