An education tech infrastructure company, Skool Media, in collaboration with the Federal Government has set up 75 Students Technology Experience Centers with over 452 projectors and 2,500 laptops in 75 Unity Schools across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
According to the Chairman, Advisory Board of Skool Media, Dr. Macjohn Onyekwere Nwaobiala, the centres are used for the training of students on relevant soft skills such as emotional intelligence, public speaking; critical thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills to enable them balance school and life.
In addition to that, he said the centres are being used as venues for Computer Based Tests (CBT) where the software is available for the students to prepare for JAMB examination.
“I am pleased to inform you that some of the students have won several national and international competitions, which were made possible by the exposure gathered at the facilities,” he said.
