The African Industries Group (AIG) has organised skills empowerment programmes to upgrade the skills of its employees and youths in host communities.

The group embarked on a week-long celebration on the occasion of the “International Youth Day” by conducting activities across its plants in the country.

Dr. John Akanya, Director, AIG in a statement said the employees participated with enthusiasm and pledged their commitment towards “Building the Future Together and creating a sustainable world.”

“The energy and talent of the youth in Nigeria is unmatched. We hope our efforts will make them more responsible and committed to leading our nation to greater heights,” he said.

Over the decades, the group has employed thousands of Nigerian youth across various plants in Nigeria, imparting them with varied skills, empowering and making them competent to contribute towards the growth of Nigeria.

AIG started its operations in Nigeria in 1971. It has a workforce of more than 10000+ employees.
