An education-based firm, School Resource Centre, said its Annual School Need Exhibition (ASNE) will begin today in Abuja, to expose parents, pupils, students, school proprietors and stakeholders to new learning technologies and innovations.
Speaking at a press briefing on Thursday, Convener of ASNE, Mrs Emem Opashi, said the two-day event will be a fun-fair noting that the annual expo is a platform that brings top leaders in the education sector, among others together to proffer solutions to issues could spur growth in the education system focusing on technology and innovation.

She said, “ASNE is not just an event, it’s also about checking in with guests who attend private school, who would want to adopt public schools in their communities; offer training to teachers, donate and contribute educational resources which are still in good condition.”
Opashi also said the event with the theme, ‘Brand New Education’ is also a platform that helps businesses meet people that need what they have.
“They also in turn can work better deals that can help lower their costs,” she added.
“This year, we are taking ASNE several notches higher and are hosting a full, one-of-a-kind, premium and exciting Education Conference on the first day,” running concurrently with the exhibition.
She noted that the conference is designed for education leaders and other stakeholders to engage with select service and product providers.
