The co-founder of the company, Hio Sola-Usidame said the introduced measure could check the menace and empower a client with up-to-date knowledge about movement or location of own goods, while in transit.
Usidame, who spoke on Wednesday during a virtual media parley with some Abuja- and Lagos-based journalists, added that Oneport 365 was aware of challenges involved, while dealing with the import and export of goods from this part of the world.
He said after booking for goods transportation, many days are being wasted in the cause of moving the cargo, or while accessing in or out of the port.
He declared that with the facilitation of the mechanism, a client’s confidence could be boosted and gave him rest of mind about his entrusted goods.
“Oneport 365’s freight management is running seamless services that include shipping, inland haulage with GPS enabled tracking access, customs brokerage, and terminal services.
“Others include marine insurance, short and long-term warehousing. “Through digitisation, the company optimises freight processes to the business owners that enables improvement in operational efficiency, scalable growth, and cash flow,” Usidame said.
Also speaking, the firm’s operation manager, Morenike Jaiyesimi said the company with workforce operation and clients’ presence across geopolitical zones of the country, runs operating offices in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Kano.
She added that the company’s 24 hours’ online services, have also eased the documentation process, for both the importers and exporters of their clients.
